About Us
With over 10 years of college counseling experience, we know that just offering a to-do list isn’t enough. While we cover all the practical steps to apply for college (high school coursework, SAT/ACT /AP test plans, extracurricular development, and college essay guidance), we know that there’s more needed for students to truly succeed.
What we’ve learned from the past few years is how important it is to help students holistically take care of themselves and each other. Having seen the effects of burnout, anxiety, and depression, we want to do more in addressing these issues. Beyond just helping students plan for their next summer program, signature project or internship, we aim to support the whole student.
Drawing from evidence-based counseling practices, we offer tools, experiences and methodology to help increase your student’s sense of emotional and social wellness. In addition to college admissions coaching, we offer practical habits to support holistic wellness. Students are encouraged to identify a topic or mental health practice/skill in which they desire to develop, including:
Self-confidence
Taking wise, value-based risks
Managing rejection or failure
Negotiating conflict with others
Self-advocating with teachers and adults
